My stay at Monoloog Hotel Pasar Baru had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, close to all major landmarks, but the room didn't meet my expectations. The cleanliness was questionable, with hair in the corners and stained bedsheets, although the shower did have a good steady flow of hot water. All in all, it's a budget hotel, so I guess I shouldn't have set my expectations too high.
